Today we are introducing Acribion. TECTIC GmbH, the company behind TECTIC, is now Acribion AG, based in Fribourg, Switzerland.
Why a new name
TECTIC began as software for one moment in a building’s life: the detailed estimate and the tender. Our work is broader. We build AI agents for the built world: agents that read plans, estimate costs, and prepare decisions, and show where every number comes from. TECTIC is the first product built on that foundation.
What stays the same
The team, the product, and our work with the three Swiss architecture offices we develop TECTIC V1 with. You can reach us at hello@acribion.com.
The name
Acribion comes from the Greek akribeia: precision, the care that refuses to guess where it could know.
What comes next
In December 2026 we plan to publish our first Precision Report: how accurate our estimates are on ten projects not used to build, tune, or test TECTIC, with the method published in advance. TECTIC’s commercial launch is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
